LA JOLLA, CA – A 56-year-old man was hurt on Sunday when he was struck by a woman suspected of drunk driving, La Jolla Light reports.
The victim was riding his bike on North Torrey Pines Road near Muir College Drive at about 9 p.m., when he was hit from behind by a 2020 Lexus NX300 that drifted into his bike lane.

While the cyclist received several injuries to his face, none are believed to be life-threatening.
The woman driving the SUV was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
This collision comes less than two weeks after another cyclist was killed in the same area.
