The police in Temple, Texas, arrested and charged a man for fleeing the scene of an accident on Saturday, April 11th. Benjamin Williams, 18, was taken into custody after crashing his car against another without stopping to render help, and he would need a car accident lawyer.
The Temple Police Department’s preliminary accident report showed that Williams was driving an Audi 4-door sedan at the time of the crash. The accident occurred at the intersection of Azalea Drive and Lowes Drive.

Police spokesman, Chris Christoff said that at about 4:45 p.m., officers were dispatched to the scene after a 911 call. On getting there, the policemen found the sedan and a Chevrolet Malibu, but Williams was nowhere in sight.
The Malibu had a woman and three children inside. The female driver sustained severe injuries, and the paramedics took her to the hospital for treatment. The kids had minor injuries, but they also went to the hospital for a checkup.
The police discovered that Williams fled on foot and conducted a search in the neighborhood where the crash occurred. They found the teenager hiding in the backyard of a residence not far from the crash site.
The police booked the young man into the Bell County Jail, and there’s no information on his bond at the time of this report. He is facing a charge of failure to stop and render aid, and if convicted, might get short jail time, a fine, or both.
Those injured in an accident can also bring a civil suit to get compensation, and such persons should hire a car accident lawyer for legal representation.
