Lyssy’s family may be able to get compensation with help from a wrongful death lawyer, depending on what investigations into the crash reveal.
Wrongful death claims allow survivors to get compensation for their losses. Many of these claims result from car accidents.
Damages can be both economic and non-economic. This means they can cover funeral and burial expenses, financial support, and lost wages as well as loss of consortium, love, and guidance.
These cases typically have to be filed within two years of the victim’s death.
