The authorities have identified the man who lost his life after crashing his motorcycle against a utility pole in Fillmore, Ventura County, California. An accident report showed that the police released the victim’s name as Daniel Arriola Carreno, 22, of Fillmore on Thursday, April 16th.
The California Highway Patrol said that the accident the man was involved in occurred on the afternoon of Tuesday, April 14th. The accident happened at about 2:50 p.m. near the intersection of Sycamore Road and Muir Street.

The crossing is in an agricultural area west of Fillmore City Limits and generally north of Highway 126, north of Kenney Grove Park. Carreno was riding a 2017 Harley Davidson motorcycle eastbound along Sycamore Road, east of Seventh Street.
The authorities said that for reasons that remain unknown, the deceased’s motorcycle went into the north shoulder of the roadway and collided with a utility pole. Carreno, who was wearing a helmet, was ejected from the bike and landed on the pavement.
The young man sustained traumatic wounds that led to his death. Firefighters from the Ventura County Fire Department pronounced him dead, and the sheriff’s office recalled the helicopter that was earlier dispatched to convey Carreno to the hospital.
The accident report also stated that the authorities are actively investigating the cause of the crash that ended the young life. Anyone who witnessed the accident and has helpful information should contact the CHP office in Ventura.
