Antonio Calve, a 69-year-old Arizona resident died in the hospital on February 12th, 2020. Calve was in an auto crash, several weeks before on Tucson’s east side.
When the crash occurred, Calve was driving a minivan that collided with a Toyota Camry. The crash took place at the intersection of Kolb and 22 Street. The driver of the Camry was speeding. This was a major factor in the accident.

Following the accident Calve was taken to the hospital for emergency medical treatment. Despite the fact that he made it to the hospital before his injuries took his life, medical personnel were not able to successfully treat his injuries.
Calve unfortunately passed away in the hospital after being treated for several weeks. Despite the fact that Calve is now deceased, the accident is still under investigation. Both vehicles sustained a tremendous amount of damage in the accident.
The roads were shut down near the accident following the collision. Police carried out their investigation and removed the debris before the roads were reopened for traffic. Calve will be mourned by the Tucson community. Currently, the driver of the Toyota Camry has not been charged with anything. However, he was given a speeding ticket. Impairment is not believed to have been a factor in this accident.
