The Santa Clara County Coroner’s Office identified the motorist killed in a solo car crash in San Jose, California. On Monday, August 3rd, the coroner publicly revealed the victim’s name as Alexander Leisten, 32, after notifying the next-of-kin.
The man passed away on the morning of Friday, July 31st after the collision occurred at about 7:30 a.m. The San Jose Police Department said in the car accident report that Leisten sped northbound on Senter Road in a white Toyota Camry. The car swerved to the center median and collided with a tree near Kelley Park.

The police said that Leisten succumbed to his wounds at the scene. No other vehicle was involved, and the investigators said they did not record any other injury. The crash is the 26th fatal accident on the streets of San Jose in 2020.
