A two-vehicle collision occurs when two cars strike each other head-on, from the back, or the side. It can result in minor, moderate, or significant injuries, and sometimes, it ends in the death of one or both of the drivers involved. Like most traffic incidents, it is preventable if drivers put safety above all else when in transit.
Safety tips for drivers include carrying out a safety check on the vehicle before driving; position all side mirrors rightly, ensure blinkers and lights are working correctly, there is no fluid leakage, and the tires fit the road and weather conditions at the time. Additionally, ensure the headlights are turned on at night, use turn-signals when necessary, pay attention and obey all signs, and stick to one side of the road.
