TEMPLE CITY, CA – One person was killed and another was injured when a vintage sports car crashed in Temple City on Thursday morning, CBS Los Angles reports.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Santa Anita Avenue and Freer Street shortly after 2 a.m. on Thursday morning. A Los Angles Sheriff’s department employee was driving a Shelby Cobra 427 Roadster replica car north on Santa Avenue when he lost control coming around a curve.

The car crashed through the median before ramming into a light pole. The man driving the car was ejected and died at the scene. A 28-year-old woman who was a passenger in the car was hospitalized with unknown injuries.
At this time police are unsure what caused the accident.
