A man named Aaron Marcoux was arrested this weekend after he caused a high-speed crash that resulted in the death of another person. The crash too place at Dysart Road and Missouri Avenue, Friday night, February 14th. The accident occurred at around 7:30 PM.
Marcoux was driving about 100 miles per hour on a road with a speed limit of 45 miles per hour. Due to the immense speeds that the car was traveling at, the driver lost control and crashed his car into another vehicle.

The other car that was involved in the accident was being driven by a man named Ryan Charley who was 34 years old. Following the impact, Charley was given emergency treatment and was transported to a local hospital.
Police officers arrested Marcoux on the site for 1 count of reckless manslaughter, 1 count of aggravated assault-serious physical injury, and 1 count of endangerment. Marcoux is innocent until proven guilty.
Following the accident, police conducted a full investigation and collected evidence. The roads were shut down for hours after the accident. After the police concluded their investigations and after the debris was cleaned off the road, the roads were reopened for normal traffic flow.
Marcoux was tested to see if drugs or alcohol were in his system at the time of the accident. Apparently, the results came back negative. The accident appears to have been caused simply by reckless driving.
