The man passed away at the crash site, and the medics pronounced him dead. The driver of the other vehicle was uninjured, and the police said the cause of the crash remains unknown. The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information should contact the Jurupa Valley Station on the listed line of Crime Stoppers if they wish to remain anonymous.

A two-vehicle collision at intersections is not uncommon. It is mostly caused by the impatience and disobedience of drivers to stop signs and traffic lights. Law enforcement and traffic agencies advise motorists always to yield the right of way to each other.

Drivers must approach intersections with caution and completely stop if the light is red. Look left-right-left before driving through, avoid speeding up to make a yellow light, and yield the way for drivers about to make a turn or coming from the opposite direction. Additionally, drive without impairment, distractions, and maintain the speed limit.
