The California Highway Patrol identified the driver who killed a male motorist in a DUI-induced accident on a roadway in the Lake Cucamonga area of California. On Wednesday, May 27th, they revealed his name as Froebel Fernando Amador, a 38-year-old resident of the city, and he would require the expertise of a top accident lawyer.

The investigators disclosed that the man is responsible for the accident that took place on Sunday, May 24th, shortly after 4 a.m. It occurred on the eastbound lane of the 210 Freeway on-ramp. Amador was driving over the speed limit in a Kia Optima when he rear-ended a Saturn sedan on the same roadway.

The wreck occurred precisely in between Haven Avenue and Milliken Avenue. The impact caused the driver of the Saturn, 62-year-old Robert Monreal Beltran to sustain extensive injuries. Paramedics and fire department officials found the driver unresponsive and declared him dead.

The San Bernardino County Coroner disclosed the driver’s identity. The CHP said Amador did not suffer any wound from the fatal collision, and he appeared to be impaired. They arrested him on suspicion of DUI and gross vehicular manslaughter.

The investigators remanded the man into the West Valley Detention Center and set his bail at $250 000. The investigation into the tragic crash remains active, and the CHP will provide an update later.

The authorities used the crash to reiterate the importance of drivers driving sober and ensuring their blood alcohol content is less than the legal .08%. Anyone involved in DUI-related accidents should hire a top accident lawyer.
