The authorities did not state what led to the accident or the driver that started the events that led to it. But they revealed that it took place near the intersection of Main Street and 234th Street. Fujinaka and Gatlin died from the injuries sustained from the crash.

The police said that one of the two was a pedestrian struck in the collision, while the other was a driver trapped in one of the cars. However, they did not state which part of the divide Fujinaka and Gatlin stood.

Another person, who remains unidentified sustained injuries, and his or her condition is unknown at the time of this report. The investigation remains ongoing.

Multi-vehicle collisions, as seen in accident reports, occur when more than two vehicles collide. The crash can be broad-sided, rear-ended, or head-on. Traffic officials advise motorists to drive with care and caution and pay attention to the roadway for their safety and that of others.
