A car injury attorney would be useful following the authorities releasing the identity of the deceased Oxnard, California, bicyclist, on Tuesday, April 28th. They identified the victim as Michael Nunziato, 49.

The police in the preliminary accident report said that the man passed away on the morning of Sunday, April 26th. The crash that claimed Nunziato’s life occurred on Statham Boulevard at about 4:30 a.m. precisely in the 1700-block of the roadway.

It is in the industrial area between Oxnard and Channel Island Boulevards. The deceased, who recently moved to Oxnard from Illinois, was riding a bicycle when a driver of a 2017 Honda Civic heading north on Statham struck him.

The paramedics did all they could to save Nunziato’s life, but he succumbed to his wounds, and they pronounced him dead. The driver of the Honda, identified as a 43-year-old male resident of the city, did not sustain any injury.

The police did not state if the man would get cited, and will release additional information after it concludes its investigation. Anyone with helpful and relevant details about the crash should contact the Oxnard Police Department on the listed line.

An auto-bicycle accident is not uncommon in California and mostly ends fatally for the bicyclist. The latter is because the human body sustains severe trauma when it lands on the roadway. The injury ranges from wounds in the head to the upper and lower body, and also internal bleeding.

Those who have a liability in this kind of accident should contact a car injury attorney for legal advice and representation.
