A multiple collision in Garden Grove, California, on Wednesday, April 15th, left one person injured, and another dead. The injured victim, Kyle Morey, 27, might need a top accident lawyer for causing the accident that killed 59-year-old Julie Varley.

Lt. Carl Whitney of the Garden Grove Police said in a press briefing that Morey started the chain of events that led to the tragic accident. The Fountain Valley man was traveling in a white 2017 Honda when he rear-ended Varley eastbound at the intersection of Chapman Avenue and Euclid Street.

The action which took place at about 1:30 p.m. caused a chain reaction that made the deceased’s vehicle to collide with another on the roadway. The medics took the injured woman to UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange, where the doctors pronounced her dead.

Whitney said that the driver of the third vehicle and a passenger in it did not sustain any injury and were released at the scene. Morey had life-threatening wounds and had to undergo surgery. There is currently no update on his condition.

Further investigation uncovered that the man was under the influence of drugs at the time of the crash. The GGP has not discovered if it was prescription drugs or an illegal substance. They charged Morrey with DUI driving, and the investigation remains active.

A DUI is a severe offense in the state of California, and those involved in this kind of accident should secure the services of a top accident lawyer for legal advice and representation.
