Princeton likely will need to hire a car injury attorney for representation if he has not already done so.

Police said an officer found an injured person laying in the street at Market and Howard streets at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday. The 43-year-old man, whom authorities have not yet publicly identified, reportedly was suffering from serious wounds.

The man was taken vehicle air ambulance to a Boston hospital for treatment of a major injuries. However, his wounds are not believed to be fatal, according to police.

Investigators later received an anonymous tip directing them to a Brockton body shop that was repairing the pickup truck that might have been used in the crash. Authorities traveled to the shop, where they said they found a truck with front-end damage that could have been due to a collision with a pedestrian.

The truck was registered to Princeton. Police interviewed him and he reportedly said that a friend had borrowed the truck and told Princeton he had hit a deer.

But upon further questioning, Princeton admitted striking the pedestrian, according to police. He was booked on multiple charges, for which he’ll need to hire a car injury attorney.
