The family of a Long Beach, California, accident victim might need the services of a car injury attorney following his identification by the authorities. The police on Wednesday, April 8th, identified Bryan Bogan, 61.
The police said that Bogan died eleven days after he was injured in a pedestrian accident on Tuesday, March 24th. He passed away on Saturday, April 4th. The preliminary accident report revealed that the deceased was disconnecting towing cables from two cars when tragedy struck.

Bogan was standing between a Honda Accord and Mercedes-Benz E320 on Del Amo Avenue near Locust Avenue. He was with a man identified as a 71-year-old male from Torrance. The two were still on the street when a Dodge Caravan rear-ended the Accord.
The impact pushed the Accord forward; it sideswiped a parked car and struck the two men. Bogan and his companion were severely injured, and paramedics at the scene rushed the two to the hospital. He was in the hospital until his death.
There is no update on the Torrance man. The police said that the driver of the Dodge, a woman named Charlette Cotton, 50, of Lakewood fled the scene. She didn’t get far as officers caught up with her and took her into custody.
The police booked her into jail on suspicion of felony hit-and-run and felony driving under the influence. She is held in place of a $160 000 bond. Under California law, Cotton might also face vehicular manslaughter charges with the death of Bogan.
A car injury attorney would help both the deceased’s family and the suspect with the issues that will arise with a criminal trial and civil lawsuit.
