Georgia State Patrol trooper, Shane Matheson, swore out 14 warrants against the young man, and they charged him with fourteen different offenses. Elliot, who resides in 730 Tilley Road, Talking Rock, Georgia, is facing misdemeanor hit-and-run.

He is facing first-degree felony homicide by vehicle and misdemeanor driving while suspended or revoked. Two felony counts of serious injury by vehicle, and misdemeanor, distracted driving also made the list.

Elliot also has a count of misdemeanor open container violation, misdemeanor DUI alcohol, misdemeanor improper exhaust system, misdemeanor following too closely, and misdemeanor glazing of windows.

The warrant also read a count of misdemeanor reckless driving, misdemeanor obstruction of an officer, another count for glazing windows, and misdemeanor operating a vehicle with altered suspension.

The warrant showed that the driver of the vehicle Elliot slammed into, Joshua Bryson, was seriously injured in the accident. However, the initial report by the GSP stated that the man was not injured.
