26-year-old Tailor Holter-Lockbeam suffered severe injuries after the car she was a passenger in crashed on Saturday, February 1 in Mount Vernon. Law enforcement at the scene verified that at approximately 9:15 a.m. local time, 27-year-old Richard Burnett hit an earth bank at North 30th Street and Manito Driveway in Mount Vernon. He did this while under the influence of alcohol, and he was determined to be driving in a reckless manner. The victim happened to be a passenger in that same vehicle, law enforcement agents added.

Medics promptly transferred the victim to a local Mount Vernon area medical facility where she is being administered care for severe injuries, officials stated.
