SAN DIEGO, CA – A 52-year-old man was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision in San Diego’s Miramar neighborhood on Sunday afternoon, reports FOX 5.
According to San Diego police Officer John Buttle, the wreck occurred at about 3:30 p.m. near 9900 Pomerado Road.

Police say a 2017 Honda Accord entered the roadway to turn onto eastbound Pomerado and was struck by a westbound 2008 Ford E350 box truck. The box truck then slammed into a traffic light.
Buttle said the driver of the Honda sustained nine fractured ribs, two collapsed lungs, and a right arm laceration. The box truck driver was uninjured.
The incident remained under investigation by the SDPD’s traffic division.
