Authorities identified a two-year-old toddler, Aidan Amariba-Gonzalvez as the victim of a hit-and-run collision in Fresno County, California. Accident reports revealed that the crash occurred on Wednesday, May 13.
The California Highway Patrol is now on the trail of the suspected hit-and-run driver of a white GMC van. Reports state that Gonzalvez ran out of his home and into the street where the vehicle hit him on Chestnut Avenue near American Avenue.

After striking the boy, the GMC driver did not stop to help him, but fled the scene, driving southwards on Chestnut. When paramedics arrived at the scene, they found the victim seriously injured and transported him to a hospital, where he died. The CHP is continuing with investigations into the crash and hopes to track down the suspect.
