SHERMAN OAKS, CA – Two people died and several more were injured in a four-vehicle crash on the 101 Freeway early Saturday morning, NBC Los Angeles reports.
The fatal accident began on the eastbound 101 ahead of Van Nuys Boulevard at about 12:08 a.m., when a 2008 Honda rear-ended a 2019 Isuzu box truck, causing both vehicles to slam into the median wall. The Isuzu proceeded into the highway’s westbound lanes, where it collided with a 2017 Honda. Finally, concrete debris from the barrier wall hit a westbound 2016 Dodge.
