It was eventually spotted again near The Habit, a fast food franchise near the 105 Freeway and Sepulveda Boulevard. A witness said the vehicle hopped the sidewalk where three pedestrians were walking, then collided with a stand of palm trees in the restaurant’s parking lot and burst into flames.
One person was injured in the spree, although it is not clear whether that person was one of the pedestrians or the driver of the stolen vehicle.
