LOS ANGELES, CA – A wrong-way driver caused a major collision on the 110 freeway that sent multiple people to the hospital on Monday night, local news reports.
The crash occurred on northbound 110 sometime before midnight as a BMW was travelling the wrong way and crashed into two other vehicles.

Four victims were injured and required hospitalization. Two of the patients were young children.
California Highway Patrol officers are continuing to investigate the crash. At this time it is unknown whether alcohol played a role.
