Blunt force trauma is a typical form of head injury associated with being ejected from a vehicle. This can cause brain swelling and brain bleeds. If they are not corrected or they do not correct themselves, they can cause long term problems for the victim.
The Illinois State Police did ticket Gordon for operating his vehicle the wrong way on the ramp. They are continuing to investigate the accident.
