The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office on Tuesday, August 18th, revealed the name of the woman killed in a multi-vehicle collision in Victorville, California. Maria Lourdes Mora, 50, died after a crash at Village Drive and Llanda Road.
The car accident report placed the victim behind the wheel of a silver Honda Civic eastbound on Village Drive. A gray older model Honda heading west then struck Mora’s car, and the force of the collision caused the two vehicles to collide with a City of Victorville truck heading eastbound on Village.

The incident happened around 11:50 a.m. on Monday, August 17th. Victorville Police officers, firefighters, and American Medical Response acted as first responders. The medics transported Mora to a Victor Valley Medical Center, where she passed away from her injuries.
The coroner said that medical personnel pronounced her dead in the emergency room at about 12:46 p.m. The collision left the male driver of the older Honda trapped inside, and the first responders had to use jaws of life to extricate him. The medics then flew him to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Two employees’ inside the city truck did not suffer any injury. The investigation into the accident is ongoing, and the police have not issued any citation.
