LOS ANGELES, CA – Investigators with the LAPD have reported one fatality and at least two injuries resulting from a multi-vehicle crash in which two pedestrians were struck Sunday evening.
According to My News LA, the crash happened at about 6:35 p.m. within the 4300 block of South Hooper Avenue.

Police say an eastbound vehicle on 43rd Street struck another vehicle on Hooper Avenue. In the process, the eastbound vehicle hit a woman and a 9-year-old boy on the sidewalk.
The woman was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead a short time later. The boy was also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
A third individual, a man in his 20s was also hospitalized with minor injuries sustained in the crash.
