A pedestrian walking across the intersection at Fawcett Avenue in Tacoma on Friday evening was struck by a driver who brazenly fled the scene.
Judi Bailey sustained severe injuries during the incident. Law enforcement reported that the incident occurred at approximately 7:20 PM on Friday evening, and that the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run is a 1996 pickup truck. The driver has already been identified as Roosevelt Earls, 70.

Medics promptly arrived at the scene and took the victim to an area hospital where she is being cared for and has severe injuries, law enforcement added.
Tacoma law enforcement officials are investigating the incident and the suspected driver who struck Ms. Bailey and brazenly fled the scene. He will likely face charges if and when arrested.
