BAKERSFIELD, CA – The Kern County coroner has released the identity of a 19-year-old man killed in an early Sunday morning crash.
According to ABC 23, the incident occurred at about 2:30 a.m. near the intersection of Panama Lane and Highway 43.

Investigators say 19-year-old Esteban Sanchez Jr. drifted off the roadway and rolled his vehicle. Moments later, his vehicle was struck by another oncoming motorist.
Sanchez was pronounced deceased a the scene of the crash. The other driver involved was taken to a local hospital where he remains in unknown condition.
