SANTA CLARITA, CA – A car fleeing from police struck a pole and overturned Monday evening, reports Hometown Station.
California Highway Patrol began the pursuit around 8:30 p.m. Monday when officers tried to stop a vehicle on Sierra Hwy.

The suspect fled from police and loss control of their vehicle near Vasquez Canyon Rd. They struck a pole which caused their vehicle to roll over.
Two people were in the SUV at the time of the roll over. They were extricated by first responders around 5:53 p.m. and was taken to the hospital by a helicopter.
Investigators have not released the cause of the pursuit to the public at this time.
