FRESNO, CA – A truck driver was killed in northwest Fresno following an accident on Highway 99 on Sunday, ABC 30 reports.
The accident occurred around 2:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the freeway near Herndon Avenue. A collision had left two vehicles disabled in the roadway and, before they could be cleared, an oncoming truck crashed into them.

The truck driver, who was a man in his thirties, died in the crash. Two passengers in the truck were hospitalized with moderate injuries.
