LOS ANGELES, CA – A train struck and killed a person Wednesday morning at the Westlake/MacArthur Park Metro station, reports CBS LA.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the area around 10:45 a.m. after receiving reports of the incident. They found a person under the Metro line subway train. The age and gender of the individual is not known at this time.

The victim was in serious condition and later died from their injuries in the hospital.
The cause of the accident is not known and is under investigation.
