Motor vehicle accidents involving drivers and pedestrians often happen for several reasons. Accident reports show that older and young people are the most affected when a car hits the body. To prevent this, traffic officials advise drivers to pay attention to their environment.
Motorists on private driveways should ensure they position their side mirrors correctly, before attempting a reverse. Move out slowly and ensure there is no one behind and ahead before driving out.
