GARDEN GROVE, CA – Three people died in a collision that left one car overturned and another submerged in a pool in Garden Grove on Friday morning.
ABC 7 reports that the two-vehicle crash occurred around 3:15 a.m near the intersection of Euclid Street and Orangewood Avenue.

When crews arrived, they discovered one vehicle had smashed through a fire hydrant and brick wall before falling into a pool. The other vehicle was found overturned against a wall.
Firefighters used a camera to search inside the submerged vehicle and determine the number of victims.
According to the preliminary report, a driver and passenger were pronounced dead at the scene. The second driver was rushed to a hospital, where they died.
The cause of the crash remained under investigation by California High Patrol officers.
