BAKERSFIELD, CA – The Kern County Coroner has identified the 19-year-old man killed in a two-vehicle crash early Sunday morning.
According to ABC 23, the crash occurred at about 2:30 Sunday morning near the intersection of Panama Lane and Highway 43.

Troopers with the California Highway Patrol believe Esteban Sanchez Jr., 19, swerved off the road at Panama Ln. and rolled his vehicle into the oncoming lane.
Sanchez’s vehicle laid on its roof for about 20 minutes until another vehicle came along and struck it at an unknown speed. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other driver involved was rushed to a local hospital with serious injuries.
