SAN DIEGO, CA – An SUV slammed into a tree in the Carmel Mountain Ranch area of San Diego on Tuesday, injuring the 42-year-old female driver in the process, reports Times of San Diego.
First responders were dispatched to Rancho Carmel Dr around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Investigators discovered that the woman was heading south in a Honda SUV when she strayed accross multiple lanes of traffic and collided with the tree.
The woman was not wearing a seat belt which resulted in her being hospitalized for serious injuries after striking the windshield with her head.
