The Washoe County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the motorcyclist who was killed in a crash on Kietzke Lane on June 29.
He is 39-year-old Evan Peppard of Reno, Nevada.

The Reno Police Department said Peppard was heading west when his motorcycle was clipped by a car that was making a turn near Kietzke Lane and east Taylor Street.
The accident happened shortly after 6:15 p.m.
Police said when they arrived on the scene, Peppard was in an unresponsive state. Emergency personnel tried to save his life, but he died on the scene.
Police say speeding contributed to the accident but neither drugs nor alcohol was involved.
Officers revealed that the driver of the car was cooperative and the individual was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. The person’s identity was not released, and it is not known whether they will face citations or charges.
The crash resulted in the closure of the northbound and southbound lanes of Kietzke Lane between Miami Way and Roberts Street for more than four hours.
Detectives continue to look for witnesses to the crash. Anyone who may have helpful information has been asked to call the Reno Police Department traffic office at 775-334-2141.
