Shaaban said he watched the suspect drive by him 15 minutes earlier with 40-50 police chasing behind him. The suspect circled back around and that is when Shaaban decided to end the hour long chase. He saw the man approaching the intersection and pulled his new big-rig out into the intersection and deliberately crashed into the suspect’s truck. Shabaan’s dash cam captured the accident.
The murder suspect was taken into custody shortly after he collided into Shabaan. The big-rig was totaled, and Shaaban fears his insurance will not cover the $75,000 in damage.
There is a GO FUND ME campaign for Shaaban that has already reached $50,000.
