The Tucson Police Department on Tuesday, May 19th, took a teenager into custody for an accident in Tucson, Arizona, that caused a male motorcyclist his life. Haley Ohmsatte, 16, was arrested on multiple assault charges and would need the expertise of a top accident lawyer.
The young lady, who the police booked into the Pima County Jail, faces charges of aggravated assault, endangerment, criminal damage, leaving the scene of an accident, and auto theft. The TPD said in a press release that Ohmsatte caused a four-vehicle collision on Wednesday, May 13th.

The authorities going by witness statements said the teenager was heading north on Camino de la Tierra in a white 2017 Lincoln passenger vehicle. When she got close to the intersection of west Tres Nogales Road, she tried to pass a 2017 Toyota Camry in a no-passing zone.
At the same time, a silver ’99 Mercedes-Benz was heading south on the same roadway. Ohmsatte then swerved the Lincoln to the right, causing her to rear-end the Corolla, which spun out of control and side-swiped the Mercedes.
The suspect continued down the roadway, where she rear-ended a 2004 Harley-Davidson road bike driven by David M. Wampole, 61. The impact of the collision pushed the motorcycle 75 yards forward, causing the rider to get ejected. Ohmsatte fled the scene on foot, but the police found her shortly after.
The Northwest Fire District EMS took Wampole to Banner University Medical Center for treatment of extensive injuries. He remained hospitalized until he succumbed to his injuries at an undisclosed time on Tuesday, hence the suspect’s arrest and need for a top accident lawyer.
The police investigation also disclosed that the Lincoln was reported stolen, but they didn’t release any further information. The investigation remains open, and the county attorney’s office would file the charges against the teenager.
