SAN DEIGO, CA – A San Diego man is recovering in the hospital after being struck by a passenger train Wednesday afternoon.
According to The Times of San Diego, the accident occurred in the Little Italy neighborhood near the intersection of West Ash Street and Kettner Boulevard at about 4:30 p.m.

The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries sustained in the wreck. The collision caused rail service to be delayed for a few hours, it has since resumed.
