FONTANA, CA – A pedestrian is in the hospital with serious injuries following a hit-and-run collision that happened on the southwest side on Saturday, May 1.
The Fontana Herald News reports that police were called to the intersection of Cherry Avenue, north of Santa Ana Avenue, after an unhoused person was struck by a southbound vehicle as he was walking west on Cherry. The vehicle may have been a semi truck.

The unidentified man was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
