BAKERSFIELD, CA – One woman was killed and another man was injured after being struck by a vehicle at a Bakersfield bank Saturday morning.
According to KGET, the accident occurred at the bank of America along Oswell Street near the intersection with Auburn Street at about 11:17 a.m.

Police say the victims of the crash, a man and a woman, were waiting in line for an ATM when a pickup truck struck them while attempting to park. The woman was transported to a local hospital where the woman died a short time later.
The man was also hospitalized with moderate injuries and is expected to recover.
The driver involved in the crash remained at the scene. No word on if they will face any charges has been released at this time.
