Police responded to an accident around 10:45 p.m. on March 27, in the Arlington community of Calendar Crossing. The accident originated on Melissa Dianne Dr, with damage being done on Vicari Drive as well. Calendar Crossing is an up and coming housing development in the Arlington area.
Based on the preliminary reports, 20-year-old Payton Fischer was driving an ATV on Melissa Dianne Drive with two passengers. For reasons that have not been determined, Fisher hit the curb along the roadway.

All three of the occupants of the ATV were thrown from the vehicle as it rolled. The ATV corrected itself and continued going until it struck a house on the 7300 block of Vicari Drive. The amount of damage done to the house was not revealed in the media releases.
Fischer was taken from the scene of the accident by paramedics to Mansfield Methodist Hospital. Her 17-year-old female passenger, whose name was not released, was taken to Medical City in Arlington from treatment. The third passenger, an 18-year-old female, was treated at the scene of the accident for injuries that she sustained.
About an hour after Fischer arrived at Mansfield Methodist Hospital, she was pronounced dead. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office released a statement that Fischer’s cause of death was blunt-force trauma to the head sustained in the accident.
There were no reports that any of the occupants on the ATV were wearing helmets at the time of the accident.
The accident is currently being investigated.
