ECHO PARK, CA – An LAFD paramedic was transported to the hospital after an ambulance was struck by a suspected impaired driver last Thursday night.
According to On Scene, the ambulance was struck on the passenger’s side by a black sedan near the intersection of Temple Avenue and Laveta Terrace.

Both a paramedic and the driver in the sedan were transported to a local hospital for treatment following the incident.
No information with regard to the identities of those involved or if the driver will face any charges has been released at this time.
