The events that led to the death of the young man started with an unidentified male driver at about 12:40 a.m. The Sandy Springs Police Department said in a press release that an unknown man was driving a black or dark vehicle on Ga. 400, northbound near the North Springs MARTA Station ramp.

The vehicle then hit two cars, with one being the Hyundai Elantra Louis II was driving. The driver of the dark vehicle fled the scene while a passing female motorist offered the deceased and his two passengers’ safety in her automobile.
The victim’s passengers were already in the vehicle, and he was about to step in when an oncoming 2006 Toyota Sienna minivan stuck him and another car. Louis II sustained fatal wounds, and a passenger in the Toyota had severe injuries, while the driver fled the scene.
The SSPD later identified the driver as Kiara Stinner, 31, of Brunswick, and they are actively looking for him. The man, when apprehended, would face charges of vehicular homicide, serious injury by vehicle, reckless driving, driving while license suspended, and hit-and-run.
The police are also actively looking for the first driver and have asked the public for help. Anyone with helpful information on the whereabouts of the two should contact the SSPD Traffic Unit on the listed line.
