LAKE ELSINORE, CA – According to My News LA, one resident was injured after a fire erupted at a home near the east boundary of the Cleveland National Forest on Wednesday afternoon.
The Riverside County Fire Department said the fire was reported on Darnell Drive, near Dreycott Way, around 12:45 p.m.

Multiple fire crews responded to the scene, where they were met with smoke billowing from the single-story house.
When they arrived, the victim was waiting outside for assistance after sustaining minor burns and smoke inhalation.
Responders gave immediate aid and then transported the injured resident to Inland Valley Medical Center. No further details on their condition were provided.
The preliminary report stated the fire started in the attic and was contained before spreading to other parts of the home. It took firefighters about 30 minutes to extinguish the flames.
