ESCONDIDO, CA – A crash on Wednesday night left a 20-year-old man dead and three others injured, according to ABC 10 San Diego.
The crash occurred on Valley Parkway, just south of Claudan Road around 11:45 p.m. Five young men were driving in a 2000 Honda Prelude when the 17-year-old driver lost control and left the road.

The car struck a light pole and a tree. One 20-year-old passenger was fatally injured and passed away on the scene. Three others were hospitalized with major injuries.
The cause of the crash remains unknown at this time. Police do not suspect drugs or alcohol were involved.
