LAKE ELSINORE, CA – Officials say three people were rescued and one was injured after a small vessel overturned in Lake Elsinore on Monday.
According to My News LA, the watercraft — either a small boat or jet ski — capsized south of the Riverside Drive marina around 12 p.m.

The three occupants were left stranded clinging to the floating overturned vessel.
A group of Lake Elsinore public works employees witnessed the accident and reported it to police. Fire crews took a Cal Fire rescue boat to the lake around 12:35 p.m. before retrieving the victims.
Authorities said one person suffered moderate abdominal injuries. They were transported to Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar. The other two victims were uninjured.
The cause of the accident remained under investigation.
