SANTA CLARITA, CA – One person was transported to the hospital after a vehicle struck a pedestrian in the Newhall area of Santa Clarita Friday night, reports Hometown Station.
First responders headed to the 2400 block of Pine Street around 7:40 p.m. Friday after receiving reports of the accident.

One person was taken to the hospital, it is unclear if it was the pedestrian or the driver. The condition of the victim and what caused the crash are also unclear at this time.
