LONG BEACH, CA – Authorities say one person is dead following a motorcycle vs. car collision in Long Beach’s Wrigley area on Sunday afternoon.
According to Long Beach Post, the accident occurred at the intersection of Magnolia Avenue and 32nd Street around 1:45 p.m.

When police arrived, they discovered the crash involved a 2001 Yamaha motorcycle and a 2017 Honda Civic. A witness was performing CPR on the critically injured motorcyclist, who passed away at the scene.
Officials with the Long Beach Police Department said the driver of the Honda, a 71-year-old woman, remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
