A suspected DUI driver would need a top accident lawyer’s service following his arrest in Napa, California, for driving while impaired. According to the Napa Police Sgt. Mike Walund, the suspect, Jose Leonidas Gomez, 37, crashed his car early Saturday morning, July 11th.
The man was driving with his 10-year-old son as his passenger. The crash report disclosed that officers responded to a 911 call about the incident at about 1:45 a.m. in the 1700-block of West Imola Avenue. Gomez crashed into a building and then exited the car with his son.

Witnesses told the police that they saw a man and a child leave the wrecked car. Walund said that shortly after, they received a report that a child with a large cut to his forehead was receiving treatment at the Valley Medical Center. The minor told medical personnel that he was involved in an accident with his father.
Officers at the crash site then located Gomez and took him into custody on suspicion of child endangerment and causing injury by driving under the influence. He is also facing a charge of driving without a license and giving false information to the police.
Under the California Vehicle Code, drivers must drive with below the .08 blood alcohol concentration. Anything from that number and above is an offense, and a driver found guilty of it would face severe punishments. It covers a time in jail, a fine, driver’s license suspension, and a compulsory alcohol re-education program.
